Whirlwind Reflections
Appraisal time sucks…the entire appraisal process is an eye-wash...don't get me on that now...
Went to Vaishnodevi after 2.5 years and it was one hell a lot of memorable experience. Unexpected unbelievable windchill, faced with just a shawl and a monkey cap, irritated by just a nanosecond of darshan that was put as a biksha to a devotee who has come climbing for 8 hours...with hunger doing the job of adding fuel to the fire that is frustration, rain started pouring down with lightning and then the power went kaput for 5 hours at a stretch...waited sitting in a dormitory, me and hubby huddled together in a small place dozing on each other, shivering and trying to catch a few winks and waking up every now and then when a baby cries or the door slams. We felt like illegal immigrants in the refugee camp...finally at daylight break, we climb down only to go and pack our bags and head straight to the station...
Moving to a new job right now and it is another tiring but exciting experience...almost thru in an interview with a top 5 IT company...they are giving me a good break and good money :) I am quite content with the way things are shaping up but anxious too about the move down to south, and the time it would take for us to settle down...
Felt like blogging a thousand times this month but just couldn’t get myself to do it due to several reasons...because I shouldn’t miss blogging this month, I write this post in an urgency with just 1 hr 20 mins to go precisely before the next one begins...:)
Just got some tips from internet to do some office pranks…just my kinda stuff...so I am all set to play them on some of my colleagues who wouldn’t mind being laughed at...
And off I go to catch a few 'z' s...see ya...
